The Emmaus Justice Initiative for Racial Reconciliation…

…exists to initiate opportunities and encourage conversations and action around the intersection of racial justice matters and our own faith. Our desire is to learn and grow together, that we might impact our community with an ever-increasing commitment to love and value each other even as we are honest about the challenges around such issues in our culture, community and church. Simply put, we want to understand better the challenges we face around racial injustice so that we can help ours be a more loving, inclusive, just community. If you’re interested in joining us on this journey, we invite you to contact us at

Our Mission

To organize a series of events and learning opportunities in response to racial injustice so that Emmaus can sit with Jesus to hear how He is calling us, as individuals and as a church, to growth, to repentance and engagement in new actions in light of His Gospel.
