At Emmaus our mission is that all of the students in our ministry become connected with Jesus, their church, and their families. We promote this by:
- Being a resource for parents as they raise their families and teach their children to follow Jesus.
- Building meaningful relationships between our students and Christ following adults.
- Offering students opportunities to experience faith through service, fellowship, and learning.
Our weekly opportunities to connect include:
Wednesday night programming for 6th through 12th grade students runs
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m. downstairs in the youth wing. Wednesday nights are an opportunity for middle school students to learn and grow in faith and also to be a part of a small group.
Sunday school for all 6th thru 12th grade students meets downstairs in the youth wing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We will be studying a new series this year looking at the full narrative of Scripture and how the thread of the Gospel is woven into each story.
Retreats and Trips
The annual fall retreat is an opportunity for students to have fun and grow in their faith together. Previous fall retreats have taken place at Camp Shamineau and Trout Lake.
Summer Mission Trip
The high school summer mission trip generally lasts about 10 days. An information meeting for all eligible students and parents is held in October or early November before the trip. Details for the 2017 trip will be coming shortly!
