What We Believe
It is our mission to foster the spiritual growth of the children God has entrusted to us, through direct discipleship and by empowering parents to become the primary spiritual trainers of their children. We will provide children and their families with an understanding of the Bible and of God’s gift of salvation. We will encourage children and families to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ through prayer, intentional Scripture study and memorization, and fellowship with other believers in worship and service.
Getting Your Kids Involved!
We value children being with their families and care providers at church. So your child is always welcome to be with you during Sunday worship services. Activity bags are available during both services for your child. They are located in the back of the Sanctuary.
Our nursery is staffed during both Sunday morning services for children ages birth thru 3 years old. We also offer Children’s Church during the 8:45 service for children 3 years old and up. Children will be invited to attend Children’s Church right before the sermon, and return to the Sanctuary before the close of the service.
Sunday School is offered for all ages from 10:00 to 10:50. Sunday school for pre-school thru 4th grade meet in the Children’s Ministry classrooms upstairs. While Sunday school for 5th grade thru adult meet in classrooms downstairs.
On Wednesday nights at Emmaus we offer a one-hour program from 6pm to 7pm for children Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Children experience God’s love through activities, games, and bible stories.
