We’ve got milk & meals to help minister to those celebrating new babies through birth or adoption and those experiencing a health crisis.
We are always in need of new volunteers who are willing to serve and bless others through this meaningful ministry. We would love to have you join us!
We will periodically contact you and ask you to prepare and deliver a home-cooked meal to an individual or a family. If you receive an email or voice mail from the coordinator, please reply promptly, even if you are unable to help at the moment. Your prompt reply (either way) allows the coordinator to move ahead with creating a meal-delivery schedule in a timely manner.
Once you have committed to making a meal, please:
Contact the recipient directly to arrange for the most convenient drop-off time. Print off the corresponding Blessing for your meal recipient and bring the blessing with you with the meal.
Bring your meal in recyclable containers, reusable containers they can keep, OR offer to come back and pick up your dishes.
Feel free to bring a dish that can be put in the oven, a filled crock pot or a dish that can be frozen if you need to bring the meal ahead of time.
